MagI3C FDSM Family Würth Expands
Waldenburg, Germany — Würth Elektronik has expanded its MagI3C family of FDSM power modules with 36V versions. The new components in SIP-3 packages are cost-effective solutions designed to meet the re- quirements for the transient capabil- ity of a 24V industrial network. The new modules operate from 6 to 36V and generate a fixed output voltage of 3.3 or 5V at a current of up to 1A. The FDSM series of MagI3C are
fully integrated DC-DC voltage con- verters with fixed output voltage. The modules comprise the power stage, controller, inductors, and ef- fective operational input and output
capacitors. They also come with ther- mal overload and short circuit pro- tection. No external components are re-
quired for operation. The workload of circuit design is reduced to a mini- mum. This allows new applications to be brought to market quickly with

very low development costs. The standard through-hole housing for easy mounting is pin-compatible with the L78x linear controllers. The radiated and line-bound in-
