Allentown, PA — FlexLink has expanded its range of stainless steel conveyor widths and product handling functions. In addition to the 3.4, 7.1 and 11.8 in. (85, 180 and 300 mm) stain- less steel sizes available, FlexLink now offers a new 2.8 in. (70 mm) option. This new size will replace the present XLX

option. Designed to handle smaller containers and packets that are more sensitive to being un- stable during production, this additional efficien- cy gives manufacturers greater flexibility to opti- mize their production control during manufactur- ing.
FlexLink’s comprehensive toolbox of solu-
tions efficiently handles more product sizes and types than before. Standard handling functions available include cleaning solutions, clamp stops, and transfer bridges. The importance of operator safe-
ty continues to be a driving force for product development at FlexLink. In line with the new conveyor option, FlexLink has also introduced a new chain design, available for the stain- less steel and the aluminum product range. The new chain design was devel-

New Flyback Switcher ICs from Power Integrations
San Jose, CA — Power Integrations has expanded its InnoSwitch™3 fam- ilies of offline CV/CC flyback switch- er ICs. The new INN3x78C devices incorporate a smaller “size 8” 750 PowiGaN™ transistor, enabling com- pact, efficient power supplies that de- liver between 27 and 55W without heatsinks. The ICs are housed in the same high creepage, safety-compli- ant InSOP™-24D package as larger members of the GaN-based In- noSwitch3 families, which target up to 120W. With efficiencies up to 94 per-
cent across line and load, PowiGaN technology is also extremely robust,

tor injury during production. The new design is approved by and compliant with both the latest European and American regulations. With a reduction of pinch points, manufac-
turers are less likely to see production losses caused by unstable products. The simplicity of a lean interior reduces the time needed to clean the line and minimizes the risk of cross contam- ination. Transporting products from primary packaging through to the end of the line, FlexLink provides a clean, simple line layout, fol-
lowing HACCP guidelines. Contact: FlexLink Systems, Inc., 6580

making it highly resistant to line surges and swells. This enables OEMs to specify a single power sup- ply design to be used worldwide. Ap- plications for the new parts include USB PD and high-current chargers and adapters for mobile devices, as well as set-top boxes, displays and networking products, and any device that must comply with the planned European Energy Labeling Regula- tion.
