Saki Opens New Plant in Japan
Tokyo, Japan — Saki Corporation has opened a new manufacturing plant in Yamato Koriyama City, Nara Prefecture. The facility will be used to build the company’s 3D automated X-ray equipment. The expansion of AOI production enables Saki to respond more quickly to market needs, enhance collaborations, improve product quality, shorten delivery times, and lower costs. AXI produc- tion at Saki’s IGA, Japan, plant will be transferred to the new facility. AXI ex- amines features of a PCB, semiconductor package or power module that are hidden from view to find defects that might result in electrical failures.
