Conformal Coating and Dispensing
Cohoes, NY — PVA is demonstrating its robotic conformal coating and dis- pensing technology at The Battery Show. Exhibiting with Dymax, the company will demo robotic applica- tion of a Dymax adhesive with an FC100-MC needle dispense valve, followed by curing using a Dymax BlueWave® MX-150™ LED UV spot curing system, both integrated into a Delta 6 platform. The Delta 6 is a flexible, robotic,
conformal coating and dispensing system that is excellent for selective coating, potting, bead, and meter- mix dispensing applications. The
robust overhead, three-axis motion platform is suitable for inline or batch operations. The Delta 6 has a slim footprint, rigid structure and robust gantry configuration designed for high accuracy and demanding applications. Options and integrated features
of the Delta 6 include: repeatability of ±25 µm; closed-loop process control

KEMET Intros Metal Composite Power Inductors
Simpsonville, SC — KEMET’s new MPX metal composite inductors are designed for use in DC-DC switching power supplies, such as power and EMI filter inductors. The metal com- posite core offers high current satu- ration characteristics that allows inductors to maintain function with large ripple currents usually found in modern power applications. The inductors perform well in high rip- ple- and inrush-current applications. Features include: shielded con-
struction; inductance range from 0.1 to 47 µH; operating temperature up to 311°F (155°C); low acoustic noise, and low magnetic flux leakage. These power inductors offer an
advantage over traditional ferrite inductors, because of the high core sat- uration flux density, which enables a stronger magnetic field and stable inductance across temperature and
current. Contact: KEMET Electronics,
