September, 2019 ElEctronic Mfg Products CAMI Releases CB55 Test Interface Board

Acton, MA — CAMI Research, Inc., has released a test interface board for surface mount single- and dual- row connectors with 0.05 in. (1.27 mm) pitch and up to 34 and 68 pins respectively. Rated to 500V AC/DC,

SMB, SMA, and N connectors. Many boards are sold unconnec-

torized, many of which are configured for specific connectors, such as the CB41 through CB44 for Micro D con- nectors. When pre-populated and pre- configured boards are used, the tester GUI automatically dis- plays a graphic of the connec- tors and wiring under test. The tester can be readily pro- grammed to do the same for cus- tom boards and fixtures. These boards are designed to fit all Ca- bleEye testers. The CB55, sold without

the CB55 may be used on all Cable- Eye models. A leader in the development of

PC-based cable and wire harness test systems, CAMI offers the CableEye suite of products complete with acces- sories, including auto-detected, plug- in connector boards for fast, conven- ient set up and testing of standard ca- bles. connectors, has surface mount pads for four dual-row connec- tors at 0.05 in. (1.27 mm) pin pitch with up to 68 pins — two each of different row separa- tions. A single-row connector

can be soldered to any dual-row loca- tion. The footprints are suitable for many connectors, including those by 3M and ERNI. As with all standard CB boards, the connectors under test are instantly and automatically de- tected and rendered on the screen to- gether with the wiring. Sold as a set of two boards, each

test board may be paired with other CableEye adapter boards to accom- modate any combination of connec- tors. An incredibly versatile test sys- tem, CableEye testers are expand-

able to accommodate large and com- plex harnesses, and users can con- nect and configure them in numerous ways. An array of QuickMount™ housing fitted connector boards can be set up and custom interface cables can be plugged directly into any of the 64-pin headers on the control and expansion modules. A test interface panel could also be used on a rack- mounted system.

Not just a tester, CableEye is a

complete cable management system, offering features not available on any other cable test equipment and may be used to test unlimited types of

connectors. Contact: CAMI Research, Inc.,
