NCA’s Employees and Customers are the Path to its Emerging Success

By Daniel Brice N

ational Circuit Assembly (NCA) has resources that set it apart from any other circuit

assembly companies in its area. Its diverse working environment, along with the latest technologically ad- vanced equipment are some of the components that help form the foun- dation of NCA.

the team brings, along with recogniz- ing customer strengths are core fo- cuses of the business. With each day and every project, Lehocky says they are constantly asking “How could we have done this better?” NCA’s pas- sion is to find, develop, implement, innovate, and provide agile solutions, and to do whatever it takes based on sound principles to overcome obsta- cles, achieve success and make a dif-

ference for its customers. The company views its employ-

ees as the core of its exceptional qual- ity. NCA takes care of its employees by offering intensive training, recog- nition programs and more. Lehocky said that the company has operators that run high-speed, very advanced computers and robots. These opera- tors are responsible for assembling extremely complex PCBs using ro-

botic manufacturing capabilities. This requires a high level of atten- tion to detail and programing skills. The company also employs

hand soldering experts that work with wires almost as thin as a hu- man hair under microscopes. Invest- ing in employees keeps them en- gaged and updated to the latest tech- nologies. NCA is also investing in the

The company provides fully inte-

grated PCB, cable and electromechan- ical manufacturing and test services to leading OEMs in the semiconduc- tor, telecommunications, transporta- tion, networking, medical, industrial controls, RF, and other high-tech in- dustries. The company recently appointed

a new president, Stephen Lehocky, who is looking forward to progressing NCA to the next level. He says that the company’s sights are set on being known as a world-class PCB manu- facturer. To do this, NCA must main- tain an exceptional quality level and add increased agility and flexibility to its processes. These are the key el- ements of lean manufacturing. The company has set some im-

pressive and aggressive goals in the next five to seven years that will set it apart from other manufacturers. The company is also expecting to be more active in the PCB community, showcasing its processes and results. In the short term, the company will implement new technology in pur- chasing, while aggressively pursuing sales in new and current markets. Lehocky is confident in the value NCA brings to its customers in deliv- ering high quality and great prices.

Employee Focus NCA has been a successful

manu facturing company for 12 years. Lehocky says that NCA is set apart from other EMS companies because of its approach in taking care of both employees and customers, and the management team works hard to provide what they need to be success- ful. NCA has an inverted pyramid structure — the operators are creat- ing the value for the customer. Through partnering with cus-

tomers and employees, the company can build the most cost-efficient, high-quality solutions possible. NCA is about teamwork. The diversity of workforce and the individual skills
