Duluth, GA — Viscom is highlighting its S3088 ultra chrome 3D AOI system, which is designed to
meet the demand for high-throughput production lines, while inspecting leading-edge electronics and staying cost competitive. The S3088 ultra chrome is based on Viscom’s
proprietary 3D AOI technology and combines accu- rate defect detection with high inspection speed. This makes the system an excellent choice for effi- cient SMT production. Some of the market-leading features of the S3088 ultra chrome include inspec- tion speeds of up to 10.1 in.2/s (65 cm2/s) and 65 MP of information in each 2 x 2 in. (50 x 50 mm) field of view. The resolution is switchable and
with 10 µm per pixel, even 0.012 x 0.006 in. (03015 metric) components can be inspected reliably. Together with eight angled cameras, a virtual- ly shadow-free 3D inspection is a key advantage of this system.
TAGARNO Launches Miniature Component ID App
Greenwood, SC — TAGARNO has launched an app that makes it easy to identify miniature PCB compo- nents during quality control. Using the search feature enables the opera- tor to quickly identify components and spot deviations from a golden sample. With the new DXF Overlay app, users can import DXF files to their TAGARNO digital microscope. The file will appear as an over- lay and an overview will clearly show
Global support and unparalleled application expertise that spans over 20 years and thousands of dispensing installations at the world’s largest manufacturers.
Variable ratio metered dispensing for viscous thermal interface materials has never been easier.
Up to 5X more accurate than traditional time and pressure dispensing methods.

where the overlay is positioned in the field of view. This ensures that the operator can always tell what area of the PCB they are looking at. The overlay will also follow the magnifi- cation levels of the microscope, mak- ing it easy to perform visual inspec- tion at any magnification level. With PCB components getting
smaller and smaller, using the search feature to easily identify com- ponents on a PCB is one of the key benefits of the new DXF Overlay app. All search results will be highlighted, enabling the operator to immediately find a specific component. TAGARNO’s digital microscopes
are used for visual inspection and quality control in a variety of indus- tries worldwide. Using high-definition cameras and user-friendly software interfaces, the digital microscopes magnify, analyze and capture objects
in excellent image quality. Contact: TAGARNO USA, LLC,
