ELLIPSIS Multipurpose Balances for Various Applications
ELLIPSIS is the latest series of laboratory balances by RADWAG. All devices in this line are based on the 5Y terminal, to which they owe such cutting-edge features as: • 10-inch display with widgets, • Digital Weighing Auditor (DWA), • uncompromised user verifi cation, • Live Note voice and text notes,
• voice commands for the device, • Handy Library, • widgets,
• Ambient Light. 10-Inch Display with Handy Library & Widgets
The greatest ergonomics of working on the ELLIPSIS balance is provided by the display: large, colour, touchscreen. To allow the user to customize the display, two mods have been created to choose from: light and dark.
Quick access to commands, always visible necessary statuses, the latest measurements within the Handy Library, and widgets - this is also what can be found here. Both widgets and the Handy Library organize data: widgets are always at hand, grouped so that the essentials never perish, whereas thanks to the Handy Library, ELLIPSIS displays the history of the last 20 measurements on the slide-out panel. It is also here where the measurement series ready for e-signature, in accordance with 21 CFR Part 11, can be found.
Digital Weighing Auditor (DWA) with Ambient Light
DWA is a system that monitors ambient conditions (temperature, humidity, pressure, and vibration), balance levelling, adjustment, USP compliance, and ionizer operation. It enables air buoyancy compensation in real-time. What is more, it signals the need for a balance inspection or a periodic audit of the balance’s accuracy and sensitivity. ELLIPSIS signals the results of the digital audit via Ambient Light, pictograms on the home screen, or a speaker. The Digital Weighing Auditor ensures that the balance is ready for work.
Uncompromised User Verifi cation
There are four ways to log in to the ELLIPSIS balance. Complete verifi cation of the user is possible by entering a password, bringing the RFID chip (in a token or a card) near the reader, or with a fi ngerprint. Applying the fi nger is also the second stage of two-step verifi cation, which follows the initial identifi cation of the user with the 8 MP camera (face recognition).
Live Note Voice and Text Notes & Voice Commands for the Device One of ELLIPSIS’ innovative features is the ability to add a voice or text note to a series of measurements or a procedure report. The user can take notes or record the conclusions so that they are not forgotten. The operator can also issue voice commands to the ELLIPSIS, such as opening the weighing chamber or levelling.
The ELLIPSIS series includes ultra-micro balances, microbalances, analytical balances, and precision balances.
