The annual gathering of the analytical industry in Dubai at ARABLAB earlier in January this year proved once again how much the show has grown in recognition.
With buyers and end users attending from 72 countries, the show has now established a clear “global selling and networking source” which appeals to the 700+ exhibitors who regularly attend. ARABLAB is one of the most influential laboratory and instrumentation events in the world – it’s dynamic growth has resulted in the show being recognised as one of the most important annual events in the industry calendar.
The rapidly developing infrastructure of the Middle East and Asia has resulted in a huge demand for new and refurbished Medical Laboratory and Clinical Research facilities throughout the region – Laboratory projects involving mainstream sectors such as: Environment, Health, Education and Petrochemicals are also being undertaken in China, Indian sub continent & throughout South East Asia.
Announcing plans for 2011, Organiser, David Domoney, commented: “Over recent years the show has enjoyed an annual growth which has been consistent, but to us this was not sufficient. It was vital that we incorporated new elements of the show that have a wider appeal to the industry encompassing:
• Working Laboratories • Hands –on Seminars • VIP suites
• Dealer Meetings • Association Presentations
Domoney also stated “ 2011 will be a landmark year for the show, as we will be adding 20% more space in brand new state of the art exhibition halls...but more importantly we will be moving the event to the month of March. A factor which will enable more visitors to schedule the show on their travel itineraries.”
The ArabLab seminar programme will feature a series of ‘branded’ seminars’ dedicated to presenting unique networking opportunities for ‘buyers and end users’.
The programme will include: • MEDILAB Seminars - the learning source for effective Medical Research • BIOLAB Seminars - the hands on view of the BIO business • PETROLAB Seminars - the research source for the Petro industry • ENVIROLAB Seminars - the analytical approach to a better environment
