Open Tank Circulating Baths Boast Many Lab-Friendly Features
New Immersion Circulator Delivers Precise and Economical Temperature Control
Exceptionally simple to use and maintain, the new PolyScience MX Immersion Circulator combines an innovative design with highly intuitive operation to deliver precise, convenient and versatile temperature control for any laboratory application. It controls temperatures from ambient +10° to 135°C with ±0.07°C stability and displays both temperature and set point on a backlit LCD that’s easily read from across the lab.
The PolyScience MX Immersion Circulator converts tanks and vessels as large as 28 litres into reliable, user-friendly circulating baths. Its adjustable mounting clamp fastens securely to both flat and rounded tank walls, while its streamlined profile maximises available reservoir space, leaving more room for glassware and samples.
A 1-speed pump delivers powerful circulation that’s easily adjusted with a convenient slide control. For safety and ease of maintenance, the MX features a fully-integrated housing that prevents direct contact with the pump and heater, yet provides quick access for inspection and cleaning.
Circle no. 113
PolyScience has introduced two dozen new open tank circulating bath systems for laboratory use. Available with either stainless steel or polycarbonate tanks, they are offered in reservoir sizes ranging from 6 to 28 litres and with three different temperature controllers, including a programmable model with a highly intuitive touch-screen interface. All controllers display both actual and set point temperature in numbers that can be easily read at a distance.
Among the many other lab-friendly features available on these economical circulating bath systems are a swiveling control head that can be viewed from multiple angles, insulating top deck, drain port, and lidded deck opening for use with cooling coils and other accessories.
