The company, founded 1983, has now more than 120 employees based at three sites. infoteam develops interactive software tools, as well as embedded systems for e.g. controls for robotics, medical diagnostics and laboratory automation.
At Analytica 2010 infoteam exhibits a centrifugal microfluidic POC-platform for laboratory diagnostics. The two applications that are used in this project are a chemoluminescent immunoassay for thyroids markers and a nucleic acid based assay (PCR). For the joint research project infoteam developed the device control which uses Windows CE via touch panel.
