Community pastor, Nate Braun, who in May replaced reassigned pastor Aaron Koehler. Nate, who came to the Yorkville location in 2016 as student youth pastor, says that Yorkville is just one of nine locations that are all part of one church. Te Yorkville location, he says, has the largest kids and students ministry by percentage than all the other locations. A non-denominational church, Community Christian’s services
include a lot of music. Te congregation, Nate says, includes some very talented musicians, some of whom even write their own music. “We believe God gives each person gifts,” Nate says, and we all want to use our gifts to further God’s mission and our mission, and one way is through the arts.” Community Christian has enjoyed being a part of Yorkville since 2006, when it started in the historic Kendall County Courthouse. “We love being a part of this community,” he said.
