David Rodriguez serves customers some of his authentic Mexican Photo by Paul E. Burd Photography

A full menu of Mexican dishes, including breakfast entrees

like huevos con jamon (eggs and ham) and huevos con salchicha (scrambled eggs with sausage and hash browns), and lunch and dinner entrees are available at one of Yorkville’s newest restaurants, Que Brava, 1423 Cannonball Trail. Opened for business in 2017, Que Brava offers food

for dine-in or carry out Monday through Tursdays from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Carne a la tampiquera is a customer favorite, says manager

and chef David Rodriguez, although he adds that all steak entrees are hits, as is his home-made mole sauce, which he makes with 22 ingredients. “It’s all fresh. We make everything fresh every day,” he

says.

A family-run restaurant, David says the first Que Brava was opened in Aurora. “We decided to open one in Yorkville because we had a lot

of customers who drove from Yorkville, Plano and Sandwich to the Aurora restaurant. Yorkville is a good location. “For us, this is a dream come true.”
