Te Prism Concert, a continuous performance event put on by the Yorkville High School Music Dept. at the Yorkville Middle School, under the direction of Dept. Chair Victor Anderson, has become a December hit. Te Yorkville School District was one of only 10 Illinois schools to be awarded the 2018 Best Communities for Music Education National Music Education Award by the nonprofit NAMM Foundation.
Yorkville CUSD 115 offers educational
programming to students from preschool through high school. Te approximately 6,000 students served in the district are housed within six elementary schools, an intermediate school, a middle school, and a high school. District 115 is fortunate to have a talented and
passionate team of educators working with students. We strongly believe that our journey as a district is
sealed in the belief that one individual life influences another. As we move through our year, we all will come across students, parents, colleagues, and community members who will forever have a profound impact on our own life’s journey, and on the ultimate success of our schools and district. Te professionals serving our schools are jointly committed to learning, growing, working in partnership with our community, and never being satisfied with the status quo. It is an honor and privilege to be part of the Yorkville School
Community and I am very proud to serve and support each of you as we continue learning, collaborating, and pursuing our continued path of excellence. I am very excited to see the ever-changing educational experiences our students are receiving, and to support our students as they see the world differently, think differently, and are exposed to the wonderful growth and diversity of our school community. Tere has never been a more exciting time to be a Yorkville Fox!
