Yorkville has a bright future for residents and businesses, alike. Our community will continue to see increased capital investment and new job growth. Downtown Yorkville is rapidly becoming a fun and delicious destination for the entire region, with new food and entertainment establishments. “Foodies”, music lovers, recreational enthusiasts, and nature lovers from throughout Chicagoland visit Yorkville’s downtown. Te Fox River is certainly a unique “jewel’ as its centerpiece. Te future will also find more shopping, quick casual food, and service choices with new retailers choosing Yorkville in our major shopping centers along Route 34 and Route 47. Housing starts are strong in Yorkville, and we expect

to see continued residential growth of all types. Whether you are looking for a single-family home, independent 55 and older living, or assisted living, Yorkville is just the right location. As the seat of Kendall County, who’s population has grown 6.7% between 2012 and 2017, our area is in “first place” in population growth in the State of Illinois.
I am happy to work closely with businesses of all types and sizes, and will provide information
on Yorkville including demographics, workforce development, available sites and assistance programs.
