Fun Events for Everyone . . . At Riverfront Park the fun begins as soon as


the weather warms up. Te first big music weekend kicks off June 22 with the Summer Solstice, a two-day craft beer and Indie music festival. Some well-known musicians have made an appearance on one of the two stages set up in Riverfront Park! Friday, July 13, River Fest begins down at the


river. Te Fest, sponsored by the Yorkville Area Chamber of Commerce and the Yorkville Parks & Recreation Dept., is a two-day event featuring live music, ribs, a whitewater competition at the Marge Cline Whitewater Park, family activities, and much more. On July 21 the Metaphysically Fit Fest


returns with yoga demonstrations, food, music and vendor booths, and free hugs too. And don’t forget ice cream at Foxy’s!
