Yorkville lawyer Boyd

Ingemunson says he has always loved music. Tat’s why, while maintaining his full-time law career, he began a music production and promotion company, Rogue Barrister Records. He also partnered with

Jason Leslie, owner of Tree Angels Brewing, a nano brewery, in 2013 to put on the

Summer Solstice Craft Beer and Music Festival at Riverfront Park. Tis year, the event, featuring up to 20 bands, will be held June 22-23.

Boyd also opened Te Law Office Pub and Music Hall at 226 S. Bridge St., where he weekly features musicians

playing their original music. A schedule of performers can be viewed at www.lawofficepub.com. And he has brought together his Pub and Casa Santiago Mexican Restaurant, Southbank Original Barbecue, and Rowdys to participate in Crawlapaloosa - music crawls, scheduled events where patrons go from pub to restaurants, following band performances, with no cover charges. “Crawlapaloosa was a way to work in more bands and incorporate them into our local economy,” Boyd explains. “It’s about out local economy. Tere’s never been a place here before that catered to original music.”
