Enrichment ASTRONOMY CLUB


‘Space is big, very big…’ – find out about some of the multitude of amazing things discovered in the universe from moons within the solar system that may harbour life to the most extreme objects in the universe such as quasars and supermassive black holes.


BOARD GAME CLUB


"Board-Silly" A board gaming club for year 10's and up. Come and socialise over some games and get to know people across the year groups. Whether you want to challenge your friends to build the biggest kingdom in ‘Dominion’ or work together to stop the spread of diseases across the globe in ‘Pandemic’, there will be a game for you.


BOOK GROUPS


Lower School Book Group


A book club for Years 7 & 8 is held in Leeds House or the Lower School Library.

Carnegie Book Group


Middle School pupils read from the Southern Schools Book Award Association annual list of best Teenage Fiction and vote for the prize-winner. This includes a trip to the final of the competition in January where they may meet the winning author. From January onwards, pupils read from the Carnegie Teenage Fiction list, shadowing the decisions of the judges until the final in June.
