EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACT IVI T I ES 2017 - 2018 Gold Duke of Edinburgh's Award


The Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is a challenging and highly rewarding activity for Sixth Form pupils. It is recognised both by universities and employers and can be a life-changing experience. The Award runs over two years and culminates in the assessed expedition at the end of Year 13.


For: Years 12 and 13 Led by:Mrs Glubb


During this time, participants will be required to carry out an activity for the physical, skill and service sections once a week for either six or twelve months. In addition to other Duke of Edinburgh levels, there is also the need to complete a residential activity that involves staying away from home for five days.


Cost: £1000 (covering enrolment training and expedition fees which can be paid in termly instalments)
