HD Brows® created stunningmake-up looks at Leeds
University’s annual University RAG (Raising and Giving) fashion show, helping to raise in the region of £15,000 for SUDEPAction (Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy), and SARSVL (SupportAfter Rape&SexualViolence Leeds).
This year, the show took the themeWanderlust, inspired by exotic locations fromaround the world with brands including ASOS,Masato Jones and Casper Oliver unveiling different interpretations.

Beauty were on-hand to ensure all 62models were groomed to perfection, creating eight distinctive looks, including ‘AmazonianWild’ and ‘Burnt Earth’. Individualmulti- coloured crystals were attached to the brows, representing the spectrumof hues created by natural elements and light. Faces were prepped with foundations and powders fromthe recently launchedMake Up by HD Brows®
range and lips finished

Shells get TVthumbs up
Television presenter HollyWilloughby described the Lava ShellsTherma Facial as “yummy” when it was demonstrated live on ThisMorning.
The facial was showcased in aMother’s Day feature, with Lava Shells’ founder ClareAnderson demonstrating the treatment.
“Being at ITV’s ThisMorning was an exciting opportunity for the Shared Beauty Secrets brand and we are proud to hear such a lovely feedback fromthe presenters and viewers post transmission. It tops off a fantastic fewmonths for us and was great to celebrate our five year anniversary with an appearance on this prestigious,much-loved show,” Clare told GN.
The company also recently developed a limited edition Lava Shell experience for Sir Richard Branson’s Necker Island, working withAromatherapyAssociates at the request of Helen Cain, SpaManager forVirgin Limited Edition.

CIDESCOcongress announced
CIDESCO has announced its 62nd annual Congress and Exhibition will take place inAthens from22nd to 26th October, hosted by CIDESCO Section Greece.
The congress attracts delegates fromaround the world including industry professionals and associatemembers, and offers the opportunity to discuss important industry issues, learn new skills and network.
Delegates will also be able to attend informative lectures given by renowned international speakers, and attend the CIDESCO Beauty Exhibition. On the final day of congress, professionals and students will compete in the annual CIDESCOMake-up and BodyArt Competition.

Social campaign to educate girls Clear Start™ has launched a social impact campaign to help spread awareness of the importance of educating girls.
