MarilynMonroe’s ‘CurlyWaves’ has topped a poll of themost iconic and inspiring celebrity hairstyles of the past 100 years, ahead ofAudrey Hepburn’s ‘Beehive’, ‘The Rachel’ sported by JenniferAniston during her Friends era andVictoria Beckham’s famous ‘Pob’ cut.


Conducted by hair and beauty salon suppliers CoolBlades.co.uk, the survey invited the brand’s customers, hair stylists and Facebook fans to vote on which famous faces, both new and old, have caused generations of people to copy and be inspired by their style.With over 3,500 respondents,MsMonroe’s blonde locks came out on top.
