Open since 2003 to complement Calcot Manor’s accommodation and hospitality facilities, Calcot Spa is located within a sympathetically purpose-built traditional golden stone addition to the hotel. The entire development is tucked away in a tranquil setting amongst the rolling Cotswold hills. What is perhaps unusual about this retreat is that it is family- friendly, offering accommodation and activities suitable for little-ones, as well as a crèche service so that parents can Spa in peace.
In addition to seven treatment rooms, Calcot Spa offers sauna and steam rooms as well as an indoor pool and a stunning outdoor hot tub, surrounded by greenery and a wood burning fire giving off the aromas of forest pine.
As well as offering a haven of relaxation, the 45-person strong team at Calcot Spa pride themselves on delivering results, leading them to offer CACI treatments from the first.
Salon Spy visited this award-winning Spa and met beauty managerArlene Jury to learn about their success and their results-driven treatments with a touch of luxury.
Tellme how the Spa came to open? “CalcotManor has operated as a hotel since 1984; when the hotel was adding facilities (in 2003) to support its nichemarket, being luxurious for families but large enough to incorporate localmembers, the additional building for the Spa was
created.The Spa aims to be inviting, welcoming and
reassuring.There are no gimmicks, just wonderful facilities and classic treatments, delivered to the highest standards by our teamof professionals.”
Whatmakes your Spa unique? “We have very comprehensive facilities for a small hotel. Our aimis tomake all of our clients immediately comfortable, and of course our surroundingsmake us unique.”
What is important to you when choosing a product range or piece of equipment? “Results along with the treatment and client experience.We also look for return on investment and support fromthe supplier.”
How has offering CACI treatments benefitted your business, and how does it fit with other treatments that you offer? “CACI is a treatment that is different to the other treatments that we do. It offers a non- surgical facial which provides our clients
