SUMMARY All athletes on the British Disability Swimming World Class Pathway programme have access to world class coaching and a coordinated network of support services that includes biomechanics. The biomechanics support provision consists of biomechanical assessments and interventions, which employ qualitative and quantitative assessment
interpreting race data, and the use of underwater video in the coaching environment.
Information from the applied
research projects is regularly disseminated to coaches and to all other support staff, via Delivering-on- Deck Project notes. These are short documents that report the rationale for the project, the test protocols used, the key findings and their practical

His research and scientific support interests are in sports performance, with a particular focus on the biomechanics of elite swimmers with a disability.
