ANDRITZ公司将为VoestAlpine公司提供新熔炉 ANDRITZ to Supply New Furnace Plant to voestalpine, Austria


International technology group ANDRITZ has been


awarded an order to supply a new walking beam furnace for the Donawitz plant of voestalpine Schiene GmbH, Aus- tria, Europe’s leading supplier of railroad tracks. Start-up is scheduled for the beginning of 2016. ANDRITZ Maerz will supply the turnkey furnace plant with an output of 185 tons/hour, including steel structure, refractory lining, transport system, combustion system, instrumentation and control system, mathematical furnace model to optimize the various thermal furnace processes, buffer bed with separating systems, feed conveyor with auto- matic billet identification, and a complete hot water cooling plant with recooling and emergency cooling systems. In order to make best possible use of the residual heat


from the waste gases, a heat recovery plant is planned to supply the district heating system. Tanks to ANDRITZ heating technology, heat consumption can be reduced to a minimum in spite of the very uniform temperature main- tained, and maximum reductions can be achieved in emis- sions of NOx and CO. ■
