While most dust filtration manufacturers in China were using
hanging round bag dust collectors, Nederman introduced the flat, modular bag filter into China and its metalcasting industry. Neder- man also has focused on educating customers to pay equal atten- tion to the removal and collection of heavy-duty dust. Providing customers with a turn-key solution and thoroughly solving their problems in the workshop process, Nederman has greatly helped improve their working environment. Timeland has been collabo- rating with Nederman in China in dust management in a number of industries, especially in the foundry industry. It has become a provider of dedusting and scavenging solutions to all casting pro- cesses by virtue of its in-depth cooperation with Nederman. Beijing Beiye Functional Materials Corporation, a key subsid-
iary of Shougang Group founded in 1958, is the largest developer and manufacturer of special functional metal materials in China. Encouraged by China’s environmental policy in recent years, Beiye has been gradually increasing its investment in environmental pro- tection and has achieved success and environmental benefits with the strong support from its parent company. Te intermediate frequency furnaces of Beiye were made by a
company in Xi’an, China, at the end of the last century and were in need of a new dedusting solution. Timeland Company, as the system integrator of Beiye’s technical innovation project, used the Nederman dedusting system, which could handle the high- temperature moisture-containing adhesive dust and fume of two intermediate frequency furnaces simultaneously. A key component of the system is the Tornado exhaust hood.
Te Tornado hood can capture high temperature fumes at all stages of melting, pouring and charging of an induction furnace. Te hood is controlled and synchronized automatically to adjust to required air volume with high efficiency performance and less energy consumption. Te reverse air fan of the new system greatly reduced the
energy consumption to 7.5 kW, using Europe’s most sophisticated filtering that steadily retains the dust built-up on the surface of the filter bag to improve filter efficiency. Tis makes the filter opera- tion pressure differential extremely stable, thus greatly extend the service life of the filter bag. Te FS722 series deduster is provided with patented online pulse de-ashing technology and supported by the de-ashing blower system mounted on the rail on the top of the deduster. Since this technology uses de-ashing media other than conventional com- pressed air, it can be deployed in places where there is no com- pressed air, or the compressed air is under-pressure.
