China. Te diecasting industry has maintained great stability and a high growth rate in recent years. With more than 50 world renowned automotive components joint ventures, Shanghai is the largest car manufacturing base in China. Reflecting this trend, more and more international die casting suppliers are targeting East China as a huge potential market and looking for more op- portunities here. (SNIEC) is the perfect location for the 11th China International Diecasting Congress & Exhibition 2016, which will be held July 12–14, 2016. Te event is the largest and most influential trade fair focusing on the diecasting industry around Asia and will gather around 300 international exhibitors and attract more than 10,000 trade visitors. Several interactive onsite events, such as the 11th China International Die Casting Congress, will be held parallel. Te Congress will concentrate on sharing visions, technologies, and experiences. During the two-day period, more high-level techni- cal reports will be presented focusing on the latest innovations. In the recent years the lightweight topic has become increasingly important. Tus, usage of nonferrous alloys and its relating casting technologies have become the trend in the foundry industry.
