Review G2E VEGAS 2015
APEX gaming enjoyed an excellent and extremely busy G2E Las Vegas exhibition. It is the strength in depth of this Austrian company with innovations throughout that drew in the crowds. All three major product lines captured the imagination of exhibition visitors
The iDROP is the way to get the most out of live tables – this cash management system offers many benefits for players and operators alike. Players can now redeem their tickets directly at the live table for jetons. Cashing-out is simple as the jeton amount is returned in ticket form. Operators have complete real-time information on this GLI-20 approved device that links with all possible casino systems. The croupier can enter notes and tickets in a bundle of up to 50 at a time. Each note/ticket is securely checked, validated and then stored within the iDROP. A player card reader can simply be connected with the iDROP.
The APEX team introduced the iDROPe to the global gaming industry for the first time at the G2E Las Vegas show. The iDROPe is the side-mounted version – so much simpler to build into the live table – it has a bill reader with a 2,000 note capacity stacker and is player card ready. This is the right solution for very busy tables that require greater note capacity.
The EVO2 gaming platform on the Pinnacle gaming machines merge together state-of-the-art gaming software and hardware. The high-resolution, wide- screen monitors portray the games in pin-sharp quality. Changing between games is done in an instant. A wide range of games is available – including classic

games, table-based games and 3D games. Further benefits include the simple swipe function on the screen, the possibility to show/hide credits and partial ticket pay-out.
The APEX PLAYER STATION (APS) is the electronic multiplayer from APEX gaming – equipped eight gaming terminals, each with a 24” high-resolution screen. This fully automatic player station incorporates a roulette wheel. APS also offers Sic-Bo, Baccarat, Black Jack and Quikker. Flexibility is key – for example, the Pinnacle gaming machines can be linked together with the APEX PLAYER STATION and vice versa.

When asked about new business, Andrew added: “The show (G2E Las Vegas) has become a great place to do business, and we received orders and serious enquires for products across our entire range, from a mix of OEM’s, land based operators and on-line casinos.”
“All our gaming solutions arose great interest at the show,” explained Kubilay Özer, Global Sales Director of APEX gaming. “Visitors commented on the quality, style and innovativeness of our gaming solutions. Following from the G2E, we will be installing the iDROP and our EGM’s at several casinos in northern America, including Canada. We are looking forward to supporting the market with these trials. We were also particularly pleased with the interest from Latin American operators for all our products, especially the APS automated multiplayer and EGMs. This was a show to remember – we even had customers from all over the world especially Europe placing orders. The gaming market is truly in growth mode again.”
