Review G2E VEGAS 2015

repository to enable easy tracking of all the wheels that have been sold and refurbished over the last decade. “We have all the data about our wheels, so that we can discuss the assets in detail with our customers,” stated TCSJohnHuxley’s TracyCohen. “When you add our GFLproduct to this with its in- depth analysis, we now have a unique set of tools that can remedy any issues.GamingFloor Live is not just about new technology, it is an enabling technology for our traditional products too, such as wheels, that allows operators to better understand all the gaming offers on their floor.“

“The average roulette wheel spins the equivalent of 900 miles a month in a casino,”added Mr.Cravens. “Just like a car, that kind of milage needs maintenance. The question is - who spots that need first, the operator or the player? Whether you’re looking at sections or dead pockets, if it’s the player that finds out the wheel has an issue, it could be very costly indeed.”

Continuing the car theme, TCSJohnHuxley also launched its Roulette Wheel Configurator at G2E, which is akin to car websites that let potential owners configure the exact specification for their vehicle and is available through the TCSJohnHuxley website. This new tool, which is currently available for the Saturn range of wheels, allows customers to build their own device by selecting from a range of finishes and components. It’s now easier than ever to visualise colours, designs and textures by browsing through a selection of veneers, finishes, turret styles and separator rings. This user-friendly tool’s graphics perfectly illustrate the finished wheel so that, once the viewer is satisfied with the selection, they can simply submit their design for a personalised quotation.

Tristan Sjöberg, Executive Chairman said: “TCSJohnHuxley roulette wheels have always offered an impressive range of finishes to compliment any interior theme or décor. This new tool provides our customers with yet another first, giving them the ability to design their own wheels and see what the finished results will look like, without having to step outside of their office. We believe our customers will love this tool and we look forward to seeing a whole host of new creativity!”

Finally, Big Bang Blackjack is an easy to play and deal proprietary game from TCSJohnHuxley that was unveiled at G2E Las Vegas. In addition to playing the traditional Blackjack bet, all the player is required to do is to place a wager on the flashing bet sensor. For Dealers, there is virtually no additional training needed; any Blackjack Dealer can learn the game in just minutes. Players who choose to participate in the side bet have a chance to win one of three jackpots, making the game even more exciting than traditional Blackjack. In addition, because the jackpots can be linked with other Big Bang Blackjack tables around the casino floor, jackpots increment at a faster rate, which creates a positive buzz throughout the venue.

CPI ON TRACK WITH SOLUTIONS FOR ONLINE CASH MANAGEMENT

CPI showed its new MEI SCR note recycler and EASITRAX Web cash management solution at G2E 2015

Among the product highlights shown by CPI at G2E was the MEI SCR note recycler and the EASITRAX Web cash management solution. The two- denomination SCR note recycler is the most recent extension of the reliable SC product line, which has achieved an installed base of more than 1.5 million units worldwide. It follows the same formula as the CASHFLOW SC and SC Advance note acceptors, raising performance expectations to deliver a more efficient, secure and cost-effective way to handle cash payments. CPI confirmed it has currently installed over 5,000 SCR note recycling units in Germany to date, and is looking to expand into neighbouring markets, were jam rates and speed are also top priorities for operators.

At the G2E show, CPI further announced its latest installation in Batumi, Georgia. Casino Leogrand recently opened with all 280 slots utilising SC Advance note acceptors. Fatih Güner, purchasing manager at Casino Leogrand, was involved in the decision to specify SC Advance. “Our guests come from all over the world,” he said, “so it’s imperative that we can accept more than just one or two different currencies – in fact, we need to accept four. CPI met our requirements by creating a customised note set for us.”

“We want to give all our players – foreign or not – a great experience, and CPI has helped us do exactly that,” said Mr. Güner. “SC Advance is performing beautifully, and our guests are delighting in their time at the slots. We wish to thank Eren Yildrim, CPI’s business development manager for our region, as well as the rest of the CPI team for their attentive support and willingness to go the extra mile in our partnership.”

“Best fit solutions don’t come from products alone,” said Anette Jauch, CPI sales director for Gaming – EMEA. “Customer service is equally important, and CPI is pleased to have been able to tailor the right noteset for Casino Leogrand. Optimising the way they, and their players, benefit from using SC Advance allows us to deliver even more value to their bottom line.”

Finally, CPI demonstrated its EASITRAX Web cash management solution with maintenance alerts, in which operators can set their thresholds, whereby the unit will message back the precise status of the unit. Operators can customise their own reports to include specific maintenance alerts, letting them know pro-actively if there are any issues. It’s an ideal system for route-operations, which hasn’t gone unnoticed in Greece, whereby all 15,000 VLTs have been outfitted with CPI’s EASITRAX. EASITRAX delivers accurate current feedback not just from an individual site, but critical details about the entire route estate.
