TRANSACT IS TAKING EPICENTRAL TO PLAY THE GAMING TABLES
TransAct was taking its Epic 950 to two new locations beyond the slot machine at this year’s G2E, bringing all the benefits of the Epicentral bonusing system to the casino tables
The TableTop Enclosure brings together an Epic 950 and power supply in a tidy, compact design for use at table games, players’ club desks and cash desks. The new In-Table Enclosure allows the Epic 950 to be mounted underneath the table game, presenting tickets via a bezel that rises up through the table.
Tracey Chernay, Senior Vice President, Global Casino, Gaming and Lottery, said: “We often hear table players complain that all the promotion and rewards on the gaming floor are geared towards the slot player. TableTop Enclosure brings the power to reward and rive play and repeat visits to the pit boss, which is hugely exciting for live gaming staff.
“The printer uses the same technology as the slot version used on over 500,000 slot machines worldwide. It can be deployed alongside our ServerPort and Epic 950 ticket printer, giving casino marketing teams access to table players with easy- to-manage floor-wide campaigns. One casino recently reported a 1,000 per cent return on
investment with Epicentral and another of a 100 per cent increase in lower-tier Average Daily Theo.”
Also on show was the Epic 3000 printer for the lottery industry at this year’s G2E. Big things are expected of the 3000 with its anti-jam front paper exit for reliable operation, its ability to print and stack up to 100 tickets without shuffling, a large 7.5- inch diameter paper roll, and the industry’s only full tool steel rotary cutter, making it the fastest transaction printer for the lottery industry.

The Epic 880 meanwhile is a compact printer for all types of gaming machines, including amusement with prizes, skill with prizes and video lottery terminals. It features a modular design that is configurable to nearly any space, a variable length ticket presenter and ticket retract capability. It also offers auto paper loading and can accommodate 4- inch or 6-inch paper rolls.

On the Las Vegas exhibition floor of G2E 2015, NYX was following up the success of its Psycho online slot game with one dedicated to iconic film star James Dean. Celebrating the life of the movie actor, who starred in the film Rebel Without a Cause, the game is a five reel video slot that features win multipliers of up to 750x the wagered amount, wild symbols, expanding wilds, free spins, re-spins, scatter symbols, and a pick'em style bonus game. The Epic 883 meanwhile is a higher resolution version of the company’s popular Epic 880 printer, this compact kiosk printer delivers clear graphic and text reproduction capabilities at resolutions up to 300 dpi.
Also on show was the Epic 430. With an easy-to- configure modular design, the Epic 430 is ideal for casino operators’ customer self-service kiosks. The printer features variable length tickets with graphics and coupons capabilities, quick paper roll changes, a fast print speed and an array of standard paper sensors.
