Friends of Strays with two adoptable dogs, Tobias and Lady; Tampa Bay Rowdies goalkeeper, Chris Glodack and his dog Zeus, and Rowdies mascot, Pete the Pelican.

Sundial St. Pete is a two-story shopping and dining destination in the heart of downtown St. Petersburg.To showcase how dog-friendly the venue is, they host- ed their first Yappy Hour in October, complete with a costume contest. Proceeds benfited Friends of Strays Animal Shelter. All of the restaurants are dog-friendly with outdoor seating areas.

This event was a unique opportunity to show some creativity with dog floats and costumes for a parade at Unity Campus in St.Petersburg.The event was a fundraising opportunity for Humane Education Connection’s Canines Helping Kids in Crisis, whose mission strives to reduce the abuse of children and animals. The program reaches at-risk kids with rescued dogs who
