Find Your Colorful Place. Bok Tower Gardens is just a real Florida gem. Twice a year, the Gardens open up for a Dog Day - one in summer (September), the other in winter (January). If you have not been, or it’s been awhile, take the whole family. It’s beautiful, peaceful and entertaining in a calming way. Of all the gardens and walkways, a couple of our favorites are the polli- nator garden, and the edible garden. There is also a fun interactive chil- dren’s garden called Hammock Hollow. The Blue Palmetto Cafe offers up some delicious food and there is covered outdoor seating overlooking some of the gardens. Dog Day of Winter is scheduled


for January 14, 9a-2p. Goody bag with admission. Proceeds benefit Humane Society of Polk County. Vendors, costume contest and demonstrations.
