Dartmouth's Finest

situated at the tip of Castle Road, Dartmouth Castle Tea Rooms boasts spectacular views whilst serving hearty breakfasts, a range of sandwiches, soups, paninis and other specials, plus a vast range of delicious homemade cakes and goodies.

Even better, they offer a great selection for the vegetarian and gluten free diet too! The Goats Cheese and Fig Panini is absolutely mouth watering, as is the Feta and Spinach Filo Pie, served with a generous salad and crusty bread freshly baked the night before.

If you fancy something lighter, we’d recommend the savoury cream tea with cheese scones, local chutney and cream cheese to top it off or go traditional and enjoy the double scone Devonshire cream tea! For little ones, go for the kid’s bag, which will perfectly please any under 5’s!

The panoramic views from the tearooms are breath taking making it a perfect year round location to boat watch, gaze out to sea or relax with friends and family. The warm and cosy atmosphere inside makes it perfect for the cooler months, whilst the outdoor seating means ample space for soaking up the sunshine. The team at Anzac Street Bistro are looking forward to this year’s Food Festival. This year we celebrate our 6th festival with a special ‘Polish night’ serving deli- cious traditional Polish dishes. There will be live music from Alice Emberton who writes and sings her own music. We will be serving local artisan gins and beers plus vodka cocktails. The Food festival is a great time to try many different types of cuisine and experience exciting and new ways of combining flavours. Set menu: 3 courses £25.00 or 2 courses £21.00 Live music starts 7pm. Menu available on 20, 21, 22 of October, open from 6pm. Book your table to avoid disappointment 01803 835515 (see advert previous page)

Matt and Shelley Pugh of Roly’s Fudge have taken part in the Dartmouth Food Festival for the last couple of years and said ‘It's amazing how many people said they would love us to bring our fudge to Dartmouth permanently.’ They were delighted to eventually open a shop in Foss Street earlier this year.

They make their fudge with only natural ingredients. Some of the tastiest fudges are Salted Maple and Pecan, Lemon Meringue, Bailey’s Cream, Honeycomb and Vanilla Clotted Cream. Most of the fudge is gluten free with free tasters to help you choose.

Pop in and watch it prepared in the traditional copper pans. Just follow your nose down Foss Street (no 1) - the freshly cooking fudge aroma is mouth watering! Contact 07446 080486
