Charm City Food Tours: Fell’s Point Food Tour explores parts of Baltimore’s best preserved historic district that was founded nearly 280 years ago. On this guided, narrated walking tour (Wednesdays through Sundays), foodies will stop to sample specially made dish- es at unique family-owned restaurants. Highlights include sausages from a 90- year-old family run factory, fourth-gener- ation Greek family recipes, drinks from the nation’s only Grand Marnier club, and Baltimore’s indigenous cookie.
Baltimore offers a variety of wine tasting and cooking demos in group or intimate settings. They can meet the chef as he or she gives one-on-one demos and personally answers questions or learn about new wines with a sommelier. Many of Baltimore’s chefs specialize in farm-to-table cuisine in their restaurants. Farm-to-table restaurants include: Woodberry Kitchen (Hampden), Fleet Street Kitchen (Harbor East), Waterfront Kitchen (Fell’s Point), and Gertrude’s (Charles Village).

Charleston’s cuisine is designed and executed by Chef Cindy Wolf, a 2006, 2008 and 2014 James Beard Foundation nomi- nee for best chef, Mid- Atlantic. Chef Wolf’s cui- sine is rooted in French fundamentals and the Low Country cooking of South Carolina, engaging both regional and international influ- ences, featuring a constantly changing menu that focuses on natural prepara- tion, purity of flavor and visual presenta- tions that are elegant and uncluttered. The restaurant also boasts a 600-plus label wine list from all over the world that is continually evolving.
Located in the popular neighborhood of Canton, Verde is casual, upscale, full- service trattoriathat seats 65 people in the main dining room and offers many group incentives, including: craft beer,
wine and pizza pairings; Make Your Own Neapolitan Pizza classes; mixology events; and wine tastings.
Waterfront Kitchen offers sweeping views of the Baltimore Harbor from the westernmost tip of Thames Street in Historic Fell’s Point. It offers groups the Dinner and a Cruise series, which includes cocktails, a cruise on the Patapsco River, and a three-course wine dinner in support of Living Classrooms Tall Ships program. The cruises are hosted by Waterfront Kitchen’s very own wine expert, Chef Jerry Pellegrino.
