Brandywine Ri ver Museum of Art -

Talking About The Fami l y Trade

The brain is always changing. Groups can find out how and why by exploring Your Brain, which is not only the museum's newest, but also its biggest exhibition. Brain science is advancing rapidly asmod- ern technology is helping us unravel age- old mysteries, such as: What is the brain? What does it do? How does it work? Believe it or not, scientists still do not fully know the answers to these questions.

The exhibit invites visitors to think about how they think. It's all about real life and what's happening inside our heads every- day as our brains make sense of the world around us.

These venues represent just a sampling of the many unique museums, theaters and attractions available throughout the region for planners seeking experiences that attendees will long remember.

Each offers its own opportunities that are engaging and that will enhance an event. By choosing such unique venues, atten- dees will most certainly leave with lasting memories and positive feelings.

Victoria BrowningWyeth, the only grandchild of famed American artist AndrewWyeth, will once again be available on a limited basis to speak at private evening events at the Brandywine River Museum of Art.

VictoriaWyeth is a gifted speaker who can offer an experience that attendees will never forget. She has a profound under- standing of her famous family's art and has benefited from close relationships with them, allowing her to share the kind of insight to which few others can lay claim.

Her talks are unique, interspersing her discussions of subject matter and technique with quotes from theWyeth family of artists, and sharing some of her personal memories and family stories.

VictoriaWyeth had many conversations with her grandfather and her uncle, JamieWyeth, about their work, so she offers a unique and informed perspective about these men and the works they so carefully and meticulously created.

The staff at the Brandywine River Museum of Art is happy to help in selectingWyeth-related books and souvenirs from the museum shop for those who attend.

The museum is available for corporate events in the evenings, starting at 6 pm.During events, the galleries are open for two consecutive hours so guests can enjoy its world-renowned col- lection, which includes art by three generations of theWyeth
