Pasco Pet Fest – Dog lovers and furry friends enjoyed music, food, vendors, adoptable pets and a wine tasting at the first annual Pasco Pet Fest on Saturday, October 5. The event was held at the Florida Estates Winery and was created by Trina Messano and Jason Longo, owners of Doggie Cakes. The event proceeds benefited Pit Bull Happenings, a local non-profit dog rescue group. There were plen- ty of other local rescue groups on hand with their adoptables. Monthly Yappy Hours were held at The Market off Main in New Port Richey throughout 2013 to raise money to help support Pasco Pet Fest. Mark your calendars now for Pasco Pet Fest 2014, which will be on October 4, with proceeds benefiting Raffle Rescue. For more information visit www.pascopetfest.com.
