Harbor House continues its
fundraising efforts, seeking donations to keep the shelter going. In April the shelter will host the Paws for Peace Walk fundraiser, coinciding with National Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Month. “It costs a lot to maintain the kennel to the standards that we want,” Carol Wick said. “Utilities, cleaning supplies (special type) and veterinary care are expensive. We encourage those who are able, to donate to our special Paws Fund that helps with the overwhelming expenses we incur.”U
