Love-A-Mutt Gala – Pet Pal Animal Shelter and Hotel Indigo Saint Petersburg Downtown joined together for the first time to host a dog friendly benefit. Love-A-Mutt Gala was held Saturday, September 28th and included complimentary hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, 50/50 raffle, adoptable Pet Pal dogs and unique primo raffle baskets. It was the first ever large indoor dog-friendly event for Pet Pal Animal Shelter and about 300 guests and their dogs were in attendance. Attire was black and white semi casual, including for the dogs. A special thank you to the Hotel Indigo Saint Petersburg
Downtown who offered a special one night rate for guests and their furry friends that evening and also donated vacation stays at different Hotel Indigo locations. The Hotel Indigo has five other locations in Florida: Sarasota, Jacksonville, Fort Myers and two locations in Miami. More than $3,000 was raised from the evening’s event. Pet Pal Animal Shelter relies solely on donations, bequests and grants to continue their mission to rescue dogs and cats from animal shelters that may otherwise be euthanized.
