When you visit any shelter or attend an adoption event, there are so many wonderful dogs who want to be part of someone’s fam- ily. Maybe yours. Many times, this is how ani- mals come to shelters and rescue groups. This is what you don’t see. And this is why volun- teers are always hosting fundraisers, asking for donations and looking for foster homes. We are in constant need of the community’s help. Now, meet Misty (below) formerly
known as Pandora. She has found a perma- nent home with a big happy family, loves to be around people and is always the center of attention. She is very protective of her family and lives with four other dogs.
Dorane Poulos and Misty. I hope that you will consider helping
your local shelter or rescue group over the holidays, or make it a New Year’s resolution. Donate your time. Donate food. Lead by example. Save a homeless animal. With your help, homeless dogs like Pandora once was will have a second chance. U
