Commenting on this year’s event, Sales Director Gerard McCarthy said: “This year we were really pleased to see an increase in delegates from local authorities, reflecting the public sector’s shift in focus from pure fitness to all round wellbeing.
“We believe that private operators will need to continue upping their game when it comes to their spa offering if they are to continue to compete against the public sector, which is increasingly taking a holistic approach by investing in community wellbeing.
ABRISUD AND ALKORPLAN PRODUCTS GENERATE ENQUIRIES FOR AQUAFLEX Aquaflex‘s stand was promoting their versatile Abrisud Swimming Pool Enclosure and heavy duty Alkorplan on-site pool lining. We have some leads to follow up on both Abrisud and Alkorplan onsite lining and it was useful to be able to explain the versatility of the Abrisud enclosure for commercial use and the benefits of installing heavy duty on-site lining for heavily used pools, particularly in the case of updating and refurbishment. We were also able to talk to a number of people about our standard pool liners and range of covers from automatic to winter debris.”
