PoolManager PRO uses the potentiostatic technique for chlorine measurement. Private pool owners benefit from a highly precise measurement and control technology which can usually only be achieved in public swimming pools. The purposely designed website www.poolmanager.info includes all product advantages as well as comprehensive technical information.

COMPACT AND PROFESSIONAL DOSING FROM TOTAL POOL CHEMICALS Total Pool Chemicals offer a range of automatic dosing units starting with the Compact Pro. Included in the Compact Pro is state of the art M05 Amperometric chemical controller which provides automatic control of chlorine and pH correction. A built-in chemical storage facility incorporating dry acid with sodium hypochlorite or calcium hypochlorite and chlorine and pH dosing pumps. Benefits also include: • Plug and play system providing straightforward installation

• Compact foot-print of just 1110mm x 600mm optimises space in small plant rooms

• Bunded storage feature allows double walled separation of hazardous chemicals

• Colour coded visual alarm system • Simple and cost effective to maintain by the installation of the PAC Pro automatic dosing system. Hypochlorite or calcium hypochlorite. • Chlorine and pH dosing pumps.

There are two dosing units available in the Compact Pro range. The Compact Pro 80 is available with all of the above features plus, incorporating a 100 litre dry acid day tank and separate enclosure which holds 4 x 20/25 litre containers of sodium hypochlorite.

The Compact Pro 100 is available with all of the above features plus, Incorporating a 100 litre dry acid day tank and separate enclosure containing a 100 litre day tank and electric stirrer for dosing of calcium hypochlorite.

The Compact Pro series allows chemical storage, dosing and automatic control all from one tidy enclosure. Its compact design

makes it ideal for schools, hotels and holiday parks where space is often limited. Also from Total Pool Chemicals is the PAC Pro Polyaluminium Chloride Dosing Unit. The Pool Water Treatment Advisory Group (PWTAG) guidelines state that coagulants should be

Dosing DEC 2012 SPN SO WHAT EXACTLY IS PAC?

PAC – Polyaluminium Chloride is a coagulant (flocculant) that enhances the removal of suspended solids by clumping them together to form a floc which is then easily trapped in the filter.

THE BENEFITS OF PAC ARE IT:

• Improves water clarity • Improves bather hygiene • Removes cryptosporidium (see below) • Reduces chloramines • Reduces chlorine consumption • Cuts chemical costs

REMOVING CRYPTOSPORIDIUM:

Cryptosporidium is a unicellular parasite that causes a gastro-intestinal illness. In the context of swimming pools people can develop the disease by swimming in water contaminated with cryptosporidium oocysts. The addition of PAC is crucial in helping filter out the infective cysts of Cryptosporidium which would otherwise pass through the filter and into the pool water. To accomplish this, the PAC should be dosed continuously and accurately prior to filtration and the PAC injection should ensure good mixing and at least 10 seconds for the PAC to operate before the flow gets to the filter media. This process is simplified by the installation of the PAC Pro automatic dosing system.

continuously dosed at the correct concentration, to enhance the removal of. suspended solids and cryptosporidium oocysts from the pool water and this is easily achieved by the introduction of the PAC Pro.

The PAC Pro system consists of a 25 litre drum of PAC (Polyaluminium Chloride) and either one or two dosing pumps housed in one practical robust unit. Benefits include: • No manual dosing required therefore reduces chemical handling

• Requires minimal space in the plant room • Resilient and robust • Easy to maintain • Cost effective • Comes complete with full health and safety information

PRE-ASSEMBLED POOL CONTROL SYSTEMS FROM SEKO UK The new Kontrol 800 is supplied as a pre- assembled pool control system with filter, flow cell and mains power isolator all mounted on a white PVC back board. All fittings are push fit

which means the installer simply has to fix the back board to the wall, connect to the mains power and water supply and they are up and running. As well as its simplicity of use the Kontol 800 is directly measuring free chlorine using an amperometric (ppm) cell.

The Pool Basic Evo is the ideal controller for all residential swimming pools. This complete unit provides a built-in controller with two peristaltic pumps for pH and redox with simple and fast-set point programming for ease of installation and many added extras as standard.

The new Kronos digital metering pump comes with stepper motor technology making the pump ideal for flocculant dosing (PAC dosing) or any application where a low accurate and constant dosage is required.

Cresta Leisure boast some excellent sites where Seko equipment is working exceptionally well, both Simon and Tim Bareham confirm that their customers are extremely happy with the ease of installation and performance of the Kontrol 800. Seko has a loyal customer base and their ongoing relationship via their after sales support
