AQUASTONE PROVIDE THE SOLUTIONS
Essex based Aquastone Solutions possess extensive experience of the stonemasonry trade, and are highly skilled when working with a variety of different materials. The company specialises in manufacturing swimming pool overflow gratings and coping stones from a man- made stone featuring a lightweight, flaw free modular construction form, which is durable and easier to install. The lightweight alternative to traditional materials was designed by company owner Trevor Havilland: “The man-made stone is a better option for pools. The trick is the thickness. It’s light and durable and
provides much greater options. We can be very flexible it terms of what customers want. The stone comes in sheets which we can then adapt and modify as the order requires,” said Trevor.
All their products are hand crafted from solid stone and boast a non-staining, non slip Anticato finish and totally bespoke corners and curves which can be made to match or contrast with an existing pool design. They offer their customers a wide selection of stone types and colours, including dark grey, light grey, black, cream, sand, white and chocolate brown.
AQUA STONE CUSTOM SERVICE
Aqua Stone Pool Finishes specialise in providing decorative finishes to swimming pool interiors and surrounds for both new builds and refurbishments, indoor and outdoor pools.
As specialists in their field, they not only supply, but also fix, a wide range of natural stone which is suitable for use in and around indoor and outdoor swimming pools, spas, wet areas and decking.
Within this range is a complete overflow system, which creates a seamless arrangement of flooring eliminating the need for plastic grilles. All available stone can be provided as non-slip and the range includes flooring, copings, grilles and skirtings along with other bespoke pieces.
For freeform pools or circular spas, Aqua Stone can provide a custom service where templates can be taken and stone cut to suit. Where grilles are not required, stone can be cut, shaped and bull nosed on site by their skilled stonemasons.
As a specialist firm, Aqua Stone are experts in their field, working with architects, designers, pool builders and, most importantly, the client. Aqua Stone Pool Finishes are delighted to introduce Marbreline, Europe’s leading seamless wall and floor covering to the UK.
