LYON GETS A THUMBS UP!


We report on Piscine Lyon – the pool and spa industry’s biggest trade show – by far!


ot having been to the Piscine show in Lyon before, I didn’t know fully what to expect. Whilst I had been told of its size and could see a number of well-known names exhibiting, nothing really prepares you for the vastness of the venue and the sheer numbers of stands and products on show.

With over 600 suppliers of products and services covering both the private and commercial sectors, plus a comprehensive programme of conferences combined with presentation areas such as the Water Testing area in Hall 5, Piscine is most definitely the show to attend if you are


serious about the pool, spa and wider water leisure industry. In fact the list of reasons to go is a long one and having had only two days there, for me, that just wasn’t long enough.


From the moment I arrived and saw a Passion Spas transporter displaying a demonstrational video and several of their products, I knew this show was on a completely different scale to any in the UK – after all, I hadn’t even gone through the doors of the venue yet!


Once you are inside the cavernous reception area, you are greeted with more product – in this case the show’s top 100 new products.
