Dosing DEC 2012 SPN

When Liverpool-based Rigo Spa Ltd installed a spa at the Wynyard Hall Country House Hotel, they looked for a chemical dosing system that is as efficient and simple to maintain as the spa and its surroundings are beautiful. Set in acres of stunning grounds, Wynyard Hall in the Tees Valley, has a charm and character that captivates all who visit. Using an old boathouse, a listed building, Rigo Spa had their work cut out to design a cutting edge, comfortable flowing spa with the wow factor. The Spa incorporates a full Certikin filtration, heating, water purification and chemical control system. With the water supply to the building being extremely high in alkalinity the automatic chemical control system was put to the test. The chemical dosing package is a proportional pH and chlorine system for sodium hypochlorite and acid dosing. The package comprises of a chemical controller with integral 10ltr/hr dosing pumps, a pre-filter and an open Amperometric cell. All of which is board mounted to utilise space within the plant room and for easy installation.

only to be connected to hydraulic and electrical supply lines. On demand, even that will be affected by ProMinent.
All dosing systems are produced in our own factories, i.e. not only the main components such as metering pumps, controllers, sensor technology and tanks but also the mounting of the systems is affected from ProMinent staff. Thus ProMinent® Quality is granted.

pools and spas for nearly twenty years and, from their base in Hailsham in East Sussex, have become the UK’s leading manufacturer of swimming pool chemical controllers and a single source for quality water treatment solutions for thousands of pools throughout Britain and Ireland.
Currently offering three pool controller models for all manner of swimming pools and recreational waters Topline have found a niche deep in the pool plant room.
The TEC2000, their flagship controller, will take control of the pH and chlorine dosing, using a robust amperometric free chlorine sensor, and uniquely also control the sand filter flocculent dosing pumps, the variable speed drives, and peripherals such as timer controls fortheday tank electric agitators, together with a graphics display and on screen data-logging.
Topline also manufacture twin controllers, the TEC3000 and the TEC3500. Identical in appearance, both with full colour touch screens, for pH and amperometric free chlorine control, the units offer subtly different functionality to suit different needs of the pool operator. The TEC3000 being a simple ‘read it and feed’ and the TEC3500, using Fuzzy Logic algorithms, limits the need for end user standardisation.
Topline are distributors for the LMI and RoyTronic electromagnetic dosing pumps, again not in the least bit glamorous, but those ‘yellow pumps’ have, for over thirty years, been the reliable and robust workhorse of the pool chemical dosing world. spn
