is crucial to their success. All automatic dosing systems work at their optimum if they are installed and maintained properly. The changing of filters, probes etc. and good all round maintenance are integral to customer satisfaction. That is why they encourage their customers to pass their knowledge, of their systems, onto their customers. This healthy practice is something they continually strive for. Seko UK is investing in a purpose built training facility as part of their current office and factory expansion in Harlow. Engineers and end users will be offered practical training on their live pool simulator giving the opportunity for hands- on the Kontrol 800 and other products in the Seko range.

Seko has a policy of constantly re-investing in both product and service development with 12% of the company’s turnover ploughed back into research and development.

NEW FROM WATERCO – CHEMFLO DOSING SYSTEMS Featuring peristaltic technology, the new Chemflo automatic control systems from Waterco Europe measure and precisely control set levels of sanitiser (chlorine) and pH balance (acid) through feedback from inline sensors. This ensures the safest possible swimming conditions. Costs are reduced by minimising chemical use and preventing excessive addition of chemicals that may damage the pool and its equipment.

Contained within ABS enclosures which are water resistant to IP25, the systems feature a digital display, are simple to install and power requirements are minimal. Chemflo’s control systems only operate occasionally to adjust ORP and pH levels to an optimal set point. Chemflo pumps can easily cope with sudden demands, dosing liquid chlorine quickly during high pool usage. A pump timer controls the main pool pump and chemicals are only added when the pump is running. There is the option of Summer, Winter, Auto and Custom modes and in addition, ‘Easy Pool Size’ entry sets up the correct automatic control function which has the following settings –

ETATRON COMPACT DESIGN AND SIMPLE INSTALLATION If you are looking for solutions in automated chemical dosing, chemical dispensing diaphragm and peristaltic pumps then chances are that Italian manufacturer Etatron will have the solution for you. Available exclusively in the UK through Golden Coast, Etatron has developed many innovative chemical dosing and metering systems, including disinfection, swimming pool water technology and pH correction systems. The new eOne range of solenoid metering pumps from Etatron has been specially developed for energy efficiency and long-lasting performance. Able to detect interruptions or failures to suction or discharge, the pump offers protection against under and overloading issues, such as blocked pipework and empty tanks. Additionally, energy consumption changes in relation to discharge pressure, resulting in minimal power consumption.

The Etatron AG-Select – available for control and regulation of pH, redox and chlorine – is a multi-parametric controller which utilises microprocessor SMD technology to provide users with full control over a huge array of data. Designed for quick connectivity, data can be recorded onto an SD or alternatively, a serial port is available.

Developed for accurate control, the AG-Select based Control System brings together a multi- channel control panel, pH, redox or Chlorine controller – complete with dosing pumps – in one compact unit that’s just 450 mm x 600 mm. In addition, the system can include level alarms. For domestic and small commercial applications, the Etatron DLX microcontroller dosing pump system provides affordable and accurate dosing and control. Available for pH, redox or chlorine applications, the DLX provides users with a variety of optional flow-rate and regulation settings. Protected by an anti-acid plastic casing, the pump operates at a maximum of 120 strokes per minute, ensuring check valve stability, while preventing backflow and overheating.

For the domestic pool market, Etatron has developed the MyPoolB ‘no-nonsense’ intuitive controller. With its user-friendly menu, set-up and operation, this simple dosing system automatically controls pH or Rx. Priced at under £500, it’s an affordable solution which can be retrofitted.

becomes increasingly easier. Pre-mounted complete solutions made by ProMinent are immediately available and ready for the use in important applications of dosage. Sensor technology, controllers and metering pumps form a unit with the necessary tanks and are ready for operation without installation work. Dosing systems have three main advantages for the dosage of fluids compared to single components: • Only one supplier and contact partner • No interface problems between single components

• No own mounting works necessary. On demand, the whole system will be supplied as pre-mounted and ready for operation or it will be commissioned by ProMinent technicians at the spot.
