TRIOGEN EXHIBIT LATEST UV TECHNOLOGIES AT LYON
UV and Ozone water treatment specialist Triogen exhibited their latest innovations in UV water treatment at this year’s Piscine exhibition in Lyon with their new UVARAY CROSSFLOW and TR2 UV systems.
Available now, the new UVARAY CROSSFLOW and UVALITE CROSSFLOW medium pressure UV systems are designed for commercial pools and spas. The systems have been developed over 18 months as a further addition to the company’s UV range and provide optimal ease of installation and long term reliability. Covering flow rates from 40 to 830 m3/h the CE approved systems utilise a 316L stainless steel reactor, UV monitor, reactor temperature sensor and an
automatic ‘smart drive’ wiper system. The reactor also features quick release UV lamp connections making lamp replacement quick and easy. The new systems offer high efficiency, plus low cost installation, operation and maintenance. Triogen’s introduction of the systems follows the launch of the TR2 UV range earlier this year. The TR2 range is designed to provide reliable, cost-effective treatment and improved water quality for domestic pools and water features. The range offers models with one, two, three or four low-pressure UV lamps, treating flow rates of up to 40 m3/h with a UV dose of 30 mJ/cm2 at the end of the 18 month lamp life. The lamps are powered by electronic ballasts housed within the reactor top cap and feature a pressure shutdown switch for system protection, while a centre ring visually indicates the lamps are operational when powered up. designation (e.g. TR2-4) indicates the number of UV lamps provided. The new models are designed to have a small footprint and low power consumption. The TR2 systems with corrosion resistant vessel, are easy to install, with selectable inlet and outlet positions. The 2-inch and 63mm PVC inlet and outlet unions provided on all four models are designed to allow easy connection to existing or new PVC systems.
