555 NORMAN TO RUN IN 2013 MARATHON HANOVIA APPOINTS
After several years of applications, Norman MacMillan, Managing Director of Surrey based BTU Pool Services has finally fulfilled a life-long ambition by being accepted to run in the 2013 London Marathon. Norman is running for a children’s charity called Phab Kids, which was introduced so that disabled and able bodied children could interact and socialise together, taking part in various activities and excursions without segregation or prejudice. “This is a great cause and makes such a massive difference to those affected by the disabilities that some children face,” said Norman. “I know that with the current economic climate many people have very little ‘extra’ income that they
can allocate to charities etc. and I would be extremely grateful for any support at all. It is a great cause and even a couple of pound's can help towards making a huge difference to these unfortunate kids. The link to my ‘Just Giving’ page is
www.justgiving.com/norman-macmillan and I thank you in advance for those who are able to make a donation,” added Norman.
The Virgin London Marathon takes place on 21 April 2013.
“I cannot wait to take part in the Marathon. I have been a spectator in the past and the atmosphere and feeling of goodwill and togetherness is amazing. I hope to do the event, my charity and all my sponsors justice,” said Norman.
