HOT TUB DONATION WILL ‘IMPROVE QUALITY OF LIFE’


Golden Coast has helped improve the quality of life of ten year old Travis Turner who suffers from severe epilepsy and brain damage, which often causes him to have violent fits.


They have just supplied a Marquis ‘The Wish’ hot tub, lifter, towels and cabinet to the Make-A-Wish Foundation as part of their international commitment to the wish granting charity. The installation and ground works were supplied by Gregg Titmuss at The Spa Doctor.


At the moment, Travis’ mum Gaynor has to lift her son from his wheelchair and place him on the floor for his own safety whenever he has a fit. So the family, who moved from Driffield to Weaverthorpe earlier this year, were thrilled to get the hot tub which they are sure will help their son. “This is going to give Travis such an improved quality of life,” said Gaynor. “He loves the water and the therapeutic benefits we just know will be wonderful. We are so grateful to the fantastic people who have made this possible.” The Make-A-Wish Foundation Charity grants wishes of children and young people aged between three and 17 living with life threatening illnesses.

SPA CREST STEPS UP TO HELP DEALERS WITH INTERNET PRESENCE


A new initiative has been launched by Spa Crest Europe, British and European distributors of the Spa Crest stable of brands, to help dealers with their internet presence. Each dealer will have access to a customised website which will contain detailed information to guide buyers through the many


benefits of spa ownership, as well as the benefits of buying a Spa Crest product.


The sites will also have areas customised to the individual dealer for them to promote the benefits of buying from them, as well as contact details and information on other services offered.


Tony Welsby, Spa Crest Europe’s Managing Director said: “The new website service is developed for and aimed at all Spa Crest, Coastal and Vision dealers and allows them the opportunity of having a complete and functioning website where they either don’t have one at all at the moment, or it can be used as an enhancement to an existing website. The site will be hosted and managed by Spa Crest Europe, saving the dealer the cost and administrative burden of doing so, and will be kept up to date with the latest products, detailed specifications on every spa in our range, and lifestyle photographs so that, again, the dealer doesn’t have to worry about keeping on top of them. In addition, the sites are designed not just to be passive shop windows, but will be optimised to target prospects looking for local spa outlets, and will feature strong calls to action and targeted offers.”


The initiative will be rolled out to


existing Spa Crest dealers selling the Spa Crest, Coastal and Vision brands over the coming weeks, and will be available as part of the package of benefits to all prospective new Spa Crest dealers who come on board. The scheme will also be made available to all Brand2Go dealers with an amended version specific to their brand offering in a second roll-out over the autumn.
