n the 1st September District Governor Neil Muir visited the


Rotary Club of Hornchurch and Upminster to pass on his good wishes to the club and to pass on a message from RI President Kalyan Banerjee. Neil has visited our club several times before and he was very relaxed as he delivered his speech. It is Neil's job to spread President Banjaree's message to all the clubs in district 1240 which is why his delivery was so slick. He must have had lots of practice already and he still has many more clubs to visit as part of his extremely busy schedule. You need lots of stamina to be a DG plus a good Sat Nav.

The samples that were presented to us by our speaker from Wilkin and Sons Ltd of Tiptree were divided up into four baskets of assorted goods and the lucky winners were Raj, Ray, Sylvia & Subhash
