Message from your Publisher I G’day Guys T “Good News Time”
he good news is that this Christmas edition has most of our Christmas
activities in it, due mainly because this year Christmas day falls on a Monday, allowing us to have a Thursday Rotary meeting just a few days beforehand giving me the time and window of opportunity to produce an edition much later in December and still giving it to you prior to Christmas. I am pleased to have been able to capture much of our festivities in the following pages, because as you know in previous years these were carried over to our Spring edition, which by then it didn’t seem appropriate reading about Christmas. I think that the April Spring edition should contain all about the New Year and Spring time, not Freezing Cold Winter and Xmas festivities. Although, sadly, in this Christmas edition there will be an important exception, as on the 19th December the Night of the Inner Wheel Christmas Party this Xmas edition is being printed, “Sorry Girls” I couldn’t squeeze it in, although, if you look on our website
www.hornchurchrotary.org you will see photos, video and a special story of the event.

would like to make a special thank you to my wife Carol for helping with the camera
and taking photos at our entertainment functions, I say special because I have noticed that when Carol takes control of the camera she gets some very good smiling photos of you. “Surely George & I cannot be that ugly”.
have a confession to make about previous photos, because as most of you would be
aware I have recently had a Cataract removed from my eye and boy-o-boy the sight is now incredible, especially with colours, this new vision has made me put a new camera on my Father Christmas gift list as I did not realise that so many of previous photos were “Blurry” They used to all look OK by me? This new sight has opened up a new era of photography for me, hopefully, I will be able to express this in future editions of the BULL and on our website.

s you know earlier in the year I took the responsibility of Primary Webmaster of
our Club’s website, I hope you enjoy the items that I have started to include. As you may notice much of the content of our BULL is already on our website, you can now also view this edition of the BULL and all previous editions by simply clicking onto the link, that will take you FREE into flip page technology, it is not difficult to find on our website as it is on the front page. There is much to view if you have the time, especially the many videos of various events and speakers at our Rotary meetings, you can view our website anywhere in the world as long as you have an internet connection, so if you have family or friends overseas, and they want to watch our videos or read our BULL they can simply log onto our
www.hornchurchrotary.org and flip-page read all about you and our Club’s activities, also they can download selected page(s) from our BULL (or complete edition) to a printer or computer as a hard copy.
