e enjoyed


tasting the range of white, pink and red wines being asked our view on taste and quality. The white wines were certainly delivered at the correct tempera- ture; it seemed that half the fridges in Upminster had been taken over for this purpose in the days before the tasting! There followed a break for refreshments and the opportunity to sample many of the wines Alison had provided. Bottles were available to take home, a small donation being suggested.

s a result of this wonderful


evening of tastes, aromas and education the Club were grateful to Alison and Jeremy for their generosity in giving their time, expertise and wine and to the Scouts for the use of their facilities. The evening was also a successful fund raising event and will allow aid to be provided abroad were it is badly need.
